Salary: £32,000 with a discretionary 10% bonus
Location: Chandlers office, with two days a week on site.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
We're looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our team and support the Payroll and Benefits Manager and Payroll Supervisor in delivering accurate, compliant, and people focused payroll and benefits services across the group.
This is a hands-on role where you'll take the lead on the end-to-end processing of multiple PAYE payrolls, ensuring everything runs smoothly, on time and in line with UK legislation.
Alongside payroll, you'll play a key role in the administration of our employee benefits, working closely with external providers to support implementation, ongoing management, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration is central to this role, so you'll work closely with the People Team, Finance and IT, particularly when delivering projects or system enhancements. You'll also contribute to maintaining high standards of compliance and data integrity, keeping up to date with legislative changes and system updates.
With an eye on the future, you'll actively look for ways to improve accuracy, efficiency, and automation, helping the payroll and benefits function continue to evolve and add value across the business.
What you'll bring
As an experienced professional with expertise in payroll and benefits administration, you will have a strong, practical understanding of UK payroll legislation and benefit-related requirements, including pensions. You will be confident at managing complex payroll processes end to end and enjoy being hands-on in a specialist role where accuracy really matters.
Analytical by nature, you're comfortable working with data to spot trends and solve problems, and you take pride in finding better ways of doing things. You will be a clear and confident communicator, able to explain payroll and benefits information in a way that employees and stakeholders can easily understand.
Most importantly, you're curious, proactive mindset, along with commitment to continuous learning and embracement of system developments will drive enhancements throughout the department.
