We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable care provider that supports children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours in residential and outreach settings. This is a rewarding and dynamic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, emotionally intelligent environment and is passionate about promoting positive change.
Role Responsibilities:
* Providing consistent, trauma-informed support to children and young people
* Building positive, trusting relationships that support emotional development and stability
* Managing challenging behaviours with patience, structure, and resilience
* Supporting with education, daily routines, and recreational activities
* Maintaining safeguarding standards and adhering to care plans
* Working closely with other professionals (social workers, therapists, etc.)
Essential Requirements:
? Proven experience supporting children or young people with EBD and/or complex behaviours? Full UK Manual Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle - essential for travel between services? Right to work in the UK - no current or future sponsorship requirements? Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and behavioural management techniques? Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins if required? Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
