The Role of an English Teacher
* Deliver high‑quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Plan engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Support students in developing literacy skills, confidence, and a love of English
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies that support student progress and wellbeing
The Ideal English Teacher Will
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching English in a secondary setting
* Be able to inspire and engage pupils of all abilities
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
* Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to making a positive impact on students' learning
