Job Description / Key responsibilities
The UK Lighting Sales Manager will take ownership of building and accelerating ITAB’s lighting business in the UK. This highly entrepreneurial role requires a driven individual who thrives on developing business from the ground up, identifying and converting opportunities, and embedding lighting as a core component of the ITAB and HMY sales offer, positioning themselves at the SME (subject matter expert)
Working closely with account managers from both ITAB and HMY, this person will drive cross-selling efforts, support lighting-specific engagements, and build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new ones. Internally, they will act as a lighting ambassador – inspiring colleagues, shaping account strategies, and influencing the wider UK commercial approach to include lighting in every conversation.
This person will own, evolve and execute the UK lighting strategy whilst contributing to the global lighting strategy through close collaboration with the wider Lighting Team, sharing market insight and success stories, and supporting the continued development of lighting as a differentiator for ITAB.
Objectives / Key deliverables / KPI
* Build and execute a strategic UK lighting sales growth strategy, securing the planned market share outlined
* Contributing to the lighting strategy within each of the applicable customer account plans for UK customers.
* Drive meaningful cross-sell lighting engagements with ITAB Group account managers.
* Secure new lighting customers with full ownership from opportunity through to implementation.
* Serve as the lighting point of contact for the UK – representing lighting in all major customer and internal conversations.
* Actively engage in quarterly reviews within the country review process plus the group lighting team and provide market updates, competitor intel, and customer feedback.
* Drive a healthy, transparent opportunity pipeline in Salesforce reflecting both the opportunity and ability to deliver on the strategic targets.
