Our Finance Department has two short-term Data Entry opportunities to support the team while implementing a new finance system. These roles are for 12 months, reporting to the Accounting Services Manager.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day processing within our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. Duties include:
1. Accurately keying invoices onto the finance system (Open Accounts).
2. Checking and processing Sales Invoices through our workflow package.
3. Checking and reconciling data from our third parties.
4. Retrieving and collating grant-related data to support funding claims, ensuring they reconcile with expenditure.
5. Jointly checking and validating expense claims to ensure compliance with policies.
6. Handling finance administration duties for Local Groups, including account signatory changes and stationery requests, ensuring correct stationery is sent.
7. Opening daily post and distributing it.
Essential skills, knowledge & experience:
* Good standard of education including Mathematics at GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent.
* At least 12 months experience in a busy Finance Office.
* Excellent numerical and IT skills.
* Organized and methodical approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
These roles are for 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, based in our Finance Department at The Lodge, Sandy. We plan to conduct interviews from 15th September 2025.
