Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Birmingham for a Responsible Individual. The role involves overseeing the operation of children's homes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing individualized care plans to meet the needs of young people. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring staff, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, liaising with parents and authorities, and ensuring high-quality care provision. The individual will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, managing resources effectively, and supporting children to achieve their full potential.
Qualifications
Experience in residential care management or leadership and a thorough understanding of children's safeguarding practices
Skills in collaborative work and team leadership, with the ability to mentor and motivate staff effectively
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and experience in ensuring compliance with health and social care standards
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Relevant professional qualifications in health or social care (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent)
