Overview
The Enterprise Resilience Team seeks a testing & exercise expert to structure, coordinate, and enhance Mastercard’s resilience capabilities across various domains including Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Technical Recovery, Resilience Planning, and Operational Resilience. This role involves independent execution with support from a global team, and may require international travel.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement enhanced testing and exercise capabilities in partnership with global teams.
* Embed Operational Resilience within the organization based on Enterprise Resilience disciplines.
* Guide standardization and understand relevant regulations such as Bank of England (BoE) and DORA.
* Align enterprise resilience programs with ISO standards and support regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
* Assess impact tolerance levels and ensure regulatory attestations are met.
* Manage business continuity tasks including impact analysis, risk assessment, planning, and exercises.
* Ensure third-party business continuity capabilities are compliant.
* Serve as a crisis management SME, setting up response models, plans, and exercises.
* Coordinate system impact analysis and recovery plans with technology recovery teams.
* Train and build relationships within the organization to foster a business continuity culture.
* Identify process improvements and provide strategic consultation.
Qualifications
* Excellent English communication skills.
* Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of ISO certification and regulatory requirements.
* Industry accreditation (preferably MBCI or equivalent).
* Experience in impact analysis, risk assessment, and complex exercises.
* Understanding of technology recovery and third-party risk management.
* Experience with Fusion Risk Management software and emergency notification tools is advantageous.
