Curriculum Administrator – English & Maths – Maternity Cover
We are looking for a Curriculum Administrator for English & Maths to join our Filton team as Maternity cover.
Role Information: Reference: REQ001431. Location: Filton Campus. FTE Salary: up to £25,572.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience). Contract Type: Fixed‑Term until 2nd July 2027 (Maternity Cover), Full‑Time. Working Hours: 37 hours per week.

The Curriculum Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of these programmes, providing vital administrative support that enables teaching staff to focus on learner progress and achievement. Working closely with Learning Area Managers, Team Leaders, teaching teams, and central services, the role involves coordinating key processes such as timetabling support, data management, learner records, and examination administration. Accuracy, organisation, and clear communication are essential, as the postholder helps ensure that English and Maths provision runs efficiently and responsively throughout the academic year.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Act as a key point of contact for English and Maths students, supporting communication and engagement across study programmes.
* Provide administrative support to curriculum teams to enable effective delivery of English and Maths provision.
* Coordinate and support educational visits and trips, including documentation and financial processes.
* Monitor and track departmental finances, ensuring accurate records and compliance with College procedures.
* Maintain and manage curriculum and performance data, including information required for moderation and quality assurance.
* Organise and maintain departmental documentation and shared resources.
* Use Microsoft Teams to communicate updates, opportunities, and key information to students.
* Support and contribute to departmental planning and strategy, working collaboratively with curriculum leads and wider teams.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
* Previous experience in an administrative or office‑based role, ideally within an education setting.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing demands.
* Confidence in interpreting, managing, and tracking data, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
