About the role
Site-based role, undertaking Highway Safety Inspections across the M25DBFO Network
Highway Safety Inspectors are responsible for carrying out daily driven inspections of the M25 DBFO network to identify defects which pose a risk to road users.
The role is responsible for deciding on what actions are then required to be taken to make safe or rectify those defects.
The role requires you to carryout walked safety inspections on a monthly basis.
Be responsible for vehicle - using it in a professional and courteous manner and in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Based location: Swanley.
What you'll be doing
* Working within a depot based environment carrying out weekly highway safety inspections on both the Motorway and APTR network
* Identification and recording of CAT1 safety defecy.
Who we're looking for
* City & Guilds 6033 – Highway Inspection (preferable) or equivalent.
* Previous experience of working in a highway maintenance contract.
* Knowledge and experience of highway & Motorway defects.
* Knowledge of highway construction and repair requirements.
* Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
* CSCS site visitor card.
* Full driving licence.
