Shop and Post Office Manager – Lympsham Community Shop and Post Office
Do you enjoy working within your local community? Are you committed to providing first-class service? We are seeking a Shop & Post Office Manager to oversee operations at your local community shop.
Applicants should have Post Office management experience and/or extensive grocery shop management experience.
As the Shop and Post Office Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Balancing the Post Office transactions accurately and managing the Shop till
2. Providing efficient and courteous customer service
3. Ensuring all Post Office audit and compliance requirements are met
4. Managing staff availability for holidays and sickness
5. Maintaining security measures, including Grapevine call outs
6. Ensuring the shop is well-stocked to meet customer expectations
7. Checking invoices for accuracy and processing payments via online banking
8. Maintaining financial records in accordance with accounting requirements
9. Recruiting, managing, and motivating volunteers
10. Keeping all health & safety, fire risk, and CoSHH assessments up to date, along with company policies
11. Updating the village website, advertising, and social media platforms
