We're recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, high-volume manufacturing site with modern equipment and long-term stability. My client is a global company with over 100 sites worldwide.
My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their double day shift where you will be responsible for maintenance on all plant equipment.

Duties
* Double days (07:00 - 15:00 / 16:30 - 00:30)
* Assist with breakdowns
* Planned and reactive maintenance
* Improving and maintaining production equipment
* Fault diagnostic and repair
* Continuous improvement projects
* Monitor maintenance stock and order spares
* Update maintenance logs
Requirements
* Recognised Engineering Qualifications
* Previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
* Electrical qualifications would be advantageous
* Pneumatics experience
* PLC knowledge would be advantageous
* Basic fabrication skills
Commutable from Sunderland, Newcastle and surrounding areas. Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
