About the role
Base Location: Flexible Scotland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work. The role requires your base home location to be one of our SSEN offices or depots around Scotland, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness.
Salary: £35,200 - £52,800, performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working pattern: Permanent | Flexible First options available.
As a Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding and increasing the visibility of our organisation's performance, with emphasis on supporting the development and standardisation of business processes and performance metrics. The core focus will be on process mapping, identifying and monitoring metrics to improve efficiency and decision-making across SSEN Transmission.
Responsibilities
* Lead initiatives to develop, standardise and improve performance reporting across our business.
* Develop and maintain the Transmission balance scorecard, tracking performance against business objectives including related reporting, analysis and communication to our Executive Committee.
* Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to produce reports on KPIs and communicate performance insights.
* Identify emerging trends and themes that may affect organisational performance.
* Develop best practices and capabilities to drive performance excellence throughout the organisation, empowering our business to have constructive performance conversations.
Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months' experience in data analysis and performance reporting.
* Experience of and skilled in process mapping.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and/or Power Apps.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills adaptable to the specific audience.
* Polite, self-motivated and proactive with strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
