For trainees covered by Annex 21 where the period of training lasts for between one and four years, pay will be as follows:
* up to 12 months prior to completion of training: 75 per cent of the pay band maximum of the fully qualified rate;
* more than one but less than two years prior to completion of training: 70 per cent of the pay band maximum of the qualified rate of the qualified;
* more than two but less than three years prior to completion of training: 65 per cent of the pay band maximum for the qualified rate.
* more than three years from completion of training: 60 per cent of the pay band maximum of the fully qualified rate.

We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious candidates to join our radiology team working as Radiographic Departmental Assistants across NHS Lothian. These posts will provide an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to support Sonographers in our Ultrasound departments at Western General Hospital, St John’s Hospital, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Department of Clinical Neurology.
These posts support the expansion of services on all sites and provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to broaden their experience. [Anchor]
The successful applicants will be required to participate in cross site working, On-Call / 5/7 rosters and provide cover for evening and weekend shifts.
Applicants must have previous NHS experience.
