The successful Estates Manager you will take ownership of the day-to-day management, maintenance, and development of our manufacturing site and facilities. This is a hands-on role that blends technical know-how with leadership—perfect for someone who’s happy rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in. You’ll be responsible for minor electric, mechanical and joinery work. Estates Manager / General Maintenance / Handyman / PPM / Reactive Maintenance Roles & Responsibilities • Oversee contractors for larger-scale maintenance and compliance-related works. • Ensure the site complies with relevant health & safety, environmental, and legal standards. • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules. • Manage budgets for facilities-related work and keep accurate records. • Support continuous improvement projects related to site infrastructure and equipment. • Carry out hands-on maintenance, repairs, and minor installation work (electrical, mechanical, and joinery). • Manage all site facilities including buildings, equipment, utilities, and services. • Act as the point of contact for emergency repairs and urgent maintenance needs.
