About the role:
We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager - Intel Cloud to join our team part time. In this role, you will be responsible for translating vendor/technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments. Aligned with marketing on MDF and with the wider sales organisation on specialised opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under general managerial direction
2. Negotiation of key tenders and large deals with in-depth technology distribution industry knowledge and understanding of hardware, software, services and solution
3. Optimises results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification, on-boarding and other business development initiatives
4. Orchestrating board level engagement activity that clearly addresses overall business objectives and multiple objectives.
5. Demonstrates a consistent ability to negotiate high level/high value customer opportunity engagements successfully.
6. Take solution and service offerings to market including TaaS
7. Ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution
8. Drives overall vendor management
9. Seen as a consulting trusted advisor in helping the customer to set strategic business objectives
10. Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share
11. Relationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the “Trusted Advisor”
12. Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools to ensure best in class business continuity
13. Full knowledge of assigned Vendor’s product / service line
14. Creates high impact value propositions for 'C' level discussions and decision making processes.
15. Maintains Full knowledge of assigned Vendor’s product / service line
Key Skills and Experience:

20. In-depth technology distribution industry knowledge and understanding of hardware, software, services and solutions

24. 10+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background
25. Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling

28. Proven ability to self-manage in an external environment
29. Business planning experience with strong operational cadence
