As a Business Analyst, you will understand and analyse user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with our service vision and business strategy. You will help connect current and future business models and contribute to our business architecture. You will challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. Collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels will be key, supporting the design, build, and delivery of projects.
The team
The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading and supporting various critical change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis, enabling optimal resource use and informed decision-making to create better places for people and wildlife, supporting sustainable development.

Experience/skills Required
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and processes to identify issues and opportunities for informed decisions.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
* Stakeholder Management: Experience managing relationships with project teams, colleagues, and senior management.
* Project Delivery: Experience delivering projects within structured frameworks, ensuring timely and successful completion.
* Requirements Gathering: Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements to meet project objectives.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
* Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the Project Delivery Capability Framework.

There are 3 roles available: 2 permanent and 1 fixed-term until 30th April 2027. We support flexible working, and appropriate training will be provided.
