Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Preston. This is a long-term position lasting until the end of the academic year, ideal for individuals looking to build experience in a primary education setting.
The role includes general classroom support, with a particular focus on supporting pupils with SEND. You will be part of a collaborative team working to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
* Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
* Working with pupils with additional needs, including SEND
* Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Promoting inclusion and positive learning experiences
* Supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development
Essential Criteria
* Experience working with children or in a school setting
* SEND experience or a strong interest in this area
* Positive, patient, and nurturing attitude
* Good organisational and communication skills
