Location: Home-Based (Southern Lincolnshire Region)

With several state‑of‑the‑art centres and partnerships with 300+ employers, our client delivers Level 3 & 4 engineering apprenticeships, higher education, and specialist upskilling programmes that help businesses grow, innovate, and future‑proof their workforce.

The Opportunity
As Employer Engagement & Key Account Manager, you’ll lead on winning new employer partnerships across southern Lincolnshire and Lincoln.
You’ll promote engineering apprenticeships, technical training solutions, and workforce development programmes that directly support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business growth through proactive employer outreach and solution‑based selling
* Promote apprenticeships and technical training with a consultative, value‑focused approach
* Build and manage strong employer relationships across engineering and manufacturing sectors
* Prepare and deliver commercial proposals and presentations to employers
* Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry exhibitions to raise brand presence
* Support apprenticeship recruitment and employer onboarding
* Gather market insights to inform strategy and product development
* Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your own sales pipeline
What We’re Looking For
* Proven sales or business development experience within training, apprenticeships, FE/HE, or education services
* Strong track record of generating leads, managing a pipeline, and closing opportunities
* Confident presenting to employers, stakeholders, and decision‑makers
* Commercially aware, well‑organised, and driven by achieving results
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
* Ability to work independently in a field‑based role
* Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
* Understanding of engineering, manufacturing, or technical training
* Experience working with apprenticeship programmes or workforce development
