Graduate Apprenticeship duration: 4 years\n\nYou will spend the first year with our partner training provider in Peterhead, undertaking the SVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations\n\nThe majority of your time in years 2-4 will be spent in a working environment, with attendance at university 4-6 times per academic year.\n\nYou will be allocated a company mentor Throughout years 2-4 you will be given placements in various Score departments, carrying out tasks that relate to your learning. You will build an understanding of Scoreâs engineering services. You will become skilled in preparing technical risk assessment and method statements for both onshore and offshore work scopes and be able to calculate correct properties for a wide variety of valve components and accessories. There will be the opportunity to assist in manufacturing processes and procedures, correctly designing, documenting and reporting on valve and component modification and upgrade. You will also undertake failure investigations to ascertain root cause and make recommendations for improvement to suit the needs of our clients. 4 x B at Higher, including Mathematics and a Science subject\n\nHNC Mechanical Engineering\n\nAs part of the selection process applicants that meet the above entry requirements will be invited to undertake an online skills assessment. Successful applicants will then be taken forward to the next stage of the selection process.
