Site Based with UK Wide Travel - Renewable Energy ProjectsAt Emtec Energy were delivering renewable energy projects across the UK that are helping drive the transition to a more sustainable future. As our projects continue to grow across the UK, were looking for a Project Quality Engineer to join Emtec Energy and help ensure our solar and battery storage projects are delivered safely, compliantly and to the highest standards.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on site, spotting the detail other miss and working closely with teams to make sure projects are delivered properly from day one.The RoleYoull carry out inspections, audits and quality checks across renewable energy projects, ensuring materials, installations and workmanship meet project specifications, industry standards and company procedures.Working closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients, youll identify issues early, support corrective actions and help drive a strong quality culture across projects.This role would be based in Bedfordshire for the 1st 6-9 months and going forward will be project based.What Youll Be DoingCarrying out site inspections, audits and QA/QC checks across live projectsInspecting incoming materials including PV modules, inverters, cables and mounting systemsVerifying civil, mechanical and electrical installations meet required standardsChecking module installation, cable management, earthing and DC string wiringSupporting commissioning activities and final project handoversMaintaining quality documentation, inspection records and traceabilityProducing defect reports and supporting corrective actionsMonitoring subcontractor workmanship and complianceSupporting health & safety inspections and site complianceBuilding strong relationships with clients and project teamsWorking away for long periods of timeWhat Were Looking ForExperience within QA/QC, project quality, site compliance or project supportPrevious experience carrying out site inspections and quality auditsStrong understanding of construction or engineering quality standardsGood knowledge of health & safety and compliance processesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks across live projectsHappy to travel to sites UK wideFull UK Driving LicenceCSCS CardHealth & Safety qualifications/certificationsExperience within renewable energy, solar PV or battery storage projects would be highly beneficial.Why Join Emtec Energy?Youll be joining a supportive and growing team delivering projects that make a real impact within the renewable energy sector.
