and What You'll Be Doing

Our medical negligence team has extensive experience in clinical negligence claims arising from all aspects of medical treatment including obstetrics, surgery, private and general practice treatment and psychiatric care.

Your role will involve but is not limited to:
1. Taking instructions from clients and assisting with the giving of legal advice, including obtaining evidence and, where appropriate, assist with litigation, to achieve appropriate resolutions for the clients.
2. Obtaining key medical evidence, including medical records. Achieving time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working.
3. Supporting case handlers generally in the running of the cases.
4. Attending and contributing to team/practice area meetings and complying with directions/decisions made to ensure team objectives achieved.
5. Keeping up to date with changes in relevant law and practice and attending appropriate training events to ensure up to date legal knowledge and best practice.

7. Organised and pro-active with high standards of workload and diary management
8. A friendly, enthusiastic and can-do approach
9. Enthusiasm in building a career as a Paralegal, whether you have previous experience or not
