SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Role - Rotherham

Salary: 90 - 140 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Tradeiwind Recruitment is working with a forward-thinking mainstream Secondary school in Rotherham to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (Special Educational Needs TA) to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
The Role:
* Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role supporting children with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
* Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils with special educational needs
* Collaborate with the school SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals
* Help implement personalised support plans, monitor progress, and promote positive behaviour
* Based in a supportive primary school with a strong inclusion ethos
Key Requirements:
* Experience supporting children with special educational needs (in a school or care setting)
* Strong communication, empathy and behaviour management skills
* A positive, patient and resilient approach to working with children with additional needs
* A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate) is beneficial but not essential
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one through us)
