Location: London OR Cambridge (Hybrid/Weekly in-office)The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have exclusively partnered with a forward-thinking cleantech innovator on their journey to revolutionising global distributed energy markets through their unique energy storage optimisation & monitoring product suite.The business has a well-established, scale-up brand within the UK Cleantech Market, with an abundance of partnership opportunities ready to convert.Our client are seeking an experienced “deal closer” to work alongside the MD & CEO - converting deals/bids originated by the SLT, into B2B technology sales opportunities & partnerships.Responsibilities:Acting as bid & sales specialist within business sales processes – collaborating with appropriate internal stakeholders to best secure desired deals with target customer base.Actively progress specific near-term qualified sales opportunities in the business’ existing pipeline with target customers.Understanding the needs and requirements of prospective and existing customers from a commercial point of view (specifically pricing, deal structure and contracting).Working with the Product department to assist their resource and efforts to align with the needs of our target customer base and providing feedback and input – in addition to enable them to meet with our target customers as frequently as possible.Working with our experienced in-house Legal specialist to contract with our successful customer opportunities in a manner that enables future growth/up-sell opportunities.Work closely with the marketing department to increase awareness of company’s brand, the product offering, and to communicate our value to our target customers.Requirements:3+ years working experience in Cleantech markets (ideally BESS, Flex, or Smart Grid technologies).Experienced 'deal closer' - ideally in a Software Solutions environment.Ability to work with colleagues from other departments to get Bids over the line.Versatile, forward-thinking, solution driven commercial professional.A team player with great social and interpersonal skills, and a ‘can-do’ attitude.Ideally has thrived in start-up/scale-up environments to date.
