Overview
Electrical CX Lead - Europe - 144830 at Jones Engineering. You will play a pivotal role in project delivery, taking ownership for the appointed commissioning (Cx) scope and assisting in leading the commissioning ethos on projects. The role works within a Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015 accredited) to ensure high standards. You will collaborate with the Commissioning Manager and a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects while meeting client specifications and tagging deliverables.
Responsibilities
* Review documentation to ensure commissioning and startup requirements are accounted for.
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans (including schedule and mobilization of personnel and equipment).
* Prepare pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures with the Specialist Vendor and suppliers.
* Review performance test procedures and operating manuals with the Vendor team.
* Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
* Assist in preparing commissioning progress reports for the project management team.
* Coordinate Vendor representatives as required.
* Supervise performance tests if required.
* Assist the Project Manager in client communications for handover of the plant.
* Manage Electrical Energisations and Testing teams.
* Assist in preparing final reports and certificates.
* Attend meetings with management and subcontractors as required.
* Travel for Ireland and Mainland Europe site support where necessary.
This role provides exposure to sectors including pharmaceutical, life sciences, data centres, semiconductors, renewables, and construction. You will be supported to develop knowledge and skills as responsibilities grow.
Skills and Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering/Commissioning.
* Electrical trade background would be advantageous.
* 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics.
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
* Excellent organizational and planning skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and quality software.
* Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.
