Choose Communications & Events
If you’re passionate about storytelling and the value of good communication, you will work with the team to develop and implement a clear and creative internal communication approach to convey RWEST and RWE Group strategy to employees. You will also gain insight into the organisation and execution of events as you support the team in arranging internal events. The team sits within the wider Corporate Affairs department, offering an overview of RWEST and enabling exposure to a wide range of business topics and activities.
Responsibilities
As part of the Communications & Events team, you will:
* Contribute to the development and implementation of internal communication activities to convey RWEST and RWE Group strategy to employees.
* Support the planning and execution of internal events for employees.
* Gain in-depth knowledge of the organisation and how events are managed from conception to delivery.
Your work will have a real impact in uniting a global business and creating a positive company culture. You should be self-motivated, enjoy teamwork, and be willing to step out of your comfort zone to develop both personally and professionally.
Qualifications & Experience
We’re looking for students who are in the penultimate year of an English, Communications, Media Studies, Event Management or similar degree, ideally on track for a 2:1 or higher. What you must have is:
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills with fluent English
* IT proficiency
* Strong organisational skills
* Enjoy creative thinking
* Good collaboration and teamwork skills
* Self-motivated and comfortable acting on your own initiative
* A positive mindset and enthusiasm to try new things
