The Role We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team and play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the EYFS and primary phases. As an HLTA, you will: • Support the EYFS team and cover teachers across year groups, using prepared lesson plans. • Deliver engaging learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes. • Promote pupil independence, self-esteem, and inclusion in every aspect of school life. • Use effective behaviour management to maintain a safe and positive learning environment. • Contribute to planning and assessment, helping to monitor and track pupil progress. • Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leaders to raise standards of achievement. • Provide guidance and direction to other adults supporting learning, when required. The Ideal Candidate • Previous HLTA or experienced TA background with the ability to lead whole-class teaching. • Strong classroom management skills and confidence in supporting children of varying abilities, including those with SEND. • Excellent organisational and ICT skills. • A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work across all year groups. • Commitment to promoting inclusion and contributing to extracurricular activities.
