We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional managment and care within our children's residential home environment.

Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager in overseeing operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance their skills.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans, placement plans, updating all risk assessments and a variety of documents to best support our young person and staff and this is met with compassion and professionalism.
* Foster a positive environment for both young people and staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
* Conduct regular assessments of our service and children's needs and adjust documentation accordingly.
* Ensure that all documentation related to the young person is accurate and up-to-date, including medication records, incident reports and a variety of documents and forms.
* Collaborate with professionals to coordinate a comprehensive placement plan for young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, behavioural and social needs are addressed.
* Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of care practices within the service.
Requirements
* Proven experience in children's home settings is essential for atleast 24 months.
* Experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
* Strong management skills with prior supervising experience.
* Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a team.
* Detailed knowledge on regulations and legislations.
* Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with the young people, our team and all professionals.
