Role Overview: Reliability Engineer
As a Reliability Engineer, you will identify and mitigate asset reliability risks affecting site operations. You will lead the site’s Asset Reliability Program, promoting analytical problem-solving techniques.
1. Implement and embed reliability practices into the site’s maintenance strategy, aiming for medium/long-term improvements and optimal asset performance at the lowest total cost.
2. Develop and enhance remote condition monitoring systems for critical assets to prevent unplanned failures.
3. Manage the site’s lubrication strategy to ensure proper maintenance of assets.
4. Optimize equipment to meet efficiency targets.
5. Oversee Major Incident Reports, Analytical Problem Solving, and Root Cause Analysis systems, ensuring effective closure of actions.
6. Ensure all equipment complies with PepsiCo UK Criticality standards and support new projects for compliance.
7. Collaborate with engineering planners and service teams to meet targets.
8. Integrate Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) protocols to define, design, monitor, and refine maintenance plans, including preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
9. Lead technical support for operations and maintenance, and promote a culture of continuous improvement aligned with PepsiCo values.
10. Possess a time-served engineering background with experience leading engineering projects.
11. Hold HND or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
