Business Development Executive – Beauty & Personal Care
Location: Office-based (with flexibility to visit customers as needed)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Mileage: 40p per mile (first 10,000 miles), 25p thereafter

The Role:
We're looking for a Business Development Executive to help drive the next phase of growth. This role is primarily focused on winning new retail and distribution accounts, but will also include managing some existing business (exact accounts TBC).
You’ll work closely with the commercial team to identify opportunities, deliver tailored pitches, and support the full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboarding and ongoing support.
This is a hands-on commercial role ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and working as part of a growing and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive new business growth across UK and international markets
* Manage a small selection of inherited accounts
* Build strong relationships with buyers and retail partners
* Prepare and deliver commercial proposals and product presentations
* Work cross-functionally with internal teams on pricing, sampling, and product development
* Track activity through CRM (quotes, samples, meetings, etc.)
* Attend face-to-face meetings, virtual calls, and industry events
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in B2B sales or business development (beauty, personal care, or FMCG preferred)
* Confident presenting to retailers and negotiating commercial terms
* A proactive, self-motivated approach to finding and winning new business
* Good commercial awareness and interest in market trends
* Comfortable in a fast-moving, small-team environment
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Performance Will Be Measured By:
* Revenue and account growth
* Number of meetings (virtual and in-person)
* Quotes and samples sent
* Conversion of new customers
What’s On Offer:
* £30,000 – £35,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
* Uncapped commission (realistic OTE of £45k+)
* Travel expenses covered (mileage as listed)
