About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people in residential care, alongside adults with complex needs.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate looking to gain valuable clinical experience within a therapeutic care environment.
The successful candidate will work alongside and under the clinical supervision of the Lead/Consultant Clinical Psychologist, supporting the delivery of psychological and therapeutic services across our care provisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the delivery of psychological support across children's residential and adult complex care services.
2. Support psychological and behavioural assessments under the guidance of the Lead/Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
3. Assist with the development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and therapeutic interventions.
4. Observe and record behavioural data to support evidence-based care planning.
5. Work collaboratively with care teams to embed trauma-informed and psychologically informed approaches in day-to-day care.
