We are hiring an Accommodation Manager to join our Estates and Campus Services team! As the Accommodation Manager, you will be responsible for leading the commercial business of our residential estate and conference and events team operations. You will work closely with the Residence Life Manager to ensure the professional delivery and development of all customer-facing operations. Your role includes supporting prospective students' transition into university accommodations and ensuring sound operational management of Leicester Conferences. You will also lead the sales and marketing strategy for the accommodation, residential life, conferencing and events teams. About you To excel in this role, you should have demonstrable experience managing successful teams and projects, with the ability to manage budgets and implement operational systems. This will likely come from being educated to degree level in a relevant field or with significant vocational experience in a similar setting. In addition, familiarity with Microsoft Office and other databases is a must. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 because the appointee will have substantial access to young people and/or vulnerable adults. Therefore, an appointment to this post will be subject to checking and appropriate clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The successful applicant for this post will, therefore, be required to give consent for the University to check with the DBS for the existence and content of any criminal record in the form of an Enhanced Disclosure.
