We are looking for an Activities Champion to join our team at Springbank. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our residents. Our goal is to provide the highest standard of care, treating residents as we would our own family members. You will utilize the latest care technology to maximize your time spent engaging with residents. Springbank has a strong reputation as a highly valued care provider, focusing on the needs of our service users every day.
Your responsibilities include providing stimulation and encouragement through entertainment, activities, and community links. You will also support the home's promotion through fundraising events, build relationships with residents and their families, and adhere to the home's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Develop individual activity plans for each resident in collaboration with care staff.
* Ensure the safe use of all activity equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of residents' activities.
* Coordinate with senior nursing staff regarding outings.
* Research accessibility and facilities for outings.
* Communicate with senior care assistants about residents' medical and care needs.
No previous experience or qualifications are necessary; we are happy to train the right candidate.
Salary: £12.41 per hour
Working Hours: Zero-hour contract with variable shifts
