Responsibilities
As Director of Music you will be responsible for the following:
Curriculum
* Music taught from Year 5 to Year 13
* Strong uptake at GCSE and A Level Music
* Growing interest in A Level Music Technology
* A curriculum that blends classical, contemporary, and digital approaches
Facilities
* A state‑of‑the‑art recording studio with industry‑standard equipment
* A digital production suite with leading DAWs
* Multiple rehearsal rooms and teaching spaces
* A performance hall used for concerts, recitals, and whole‑school events
Creative Arts Collaboration
* A close working relationship with the Drama Department
* Joint planning of school productions, musical theatre, and interdisciplinary arts events
