* Working pattern: 8 hour days rotating Monday to Friday, NO Nights, EVER!

* Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production lines in a factory site Process and Packaging environment. Their job combines machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and process improvement to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing.

Your Role - Technical Production Operator - Dat Shifts
As a Technical Operator / Production Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the production line runs smoothly and efficiently.
Your main responsibilities include
* Maintain, operate, and improve manufacturing processes
* Carrying out machine changeovers and tooling adjustments
* Driving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and production performance
* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
* Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
* Operating Machinery that process, convert and make materials
* Running automated or semi-automated machines
* Adjusting machine settings to maintain product quality
* Monitoring performance to ensure smooth operation
* Diagnosing and fixing minor mechanical or technical faults
* Reporting more complex issues to the engineering team
* Line Changeovers & Setup
* Ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
* Ensuring all processes meet health, safety, and quality standards
* Recording data on performance and quality.
* Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas to improve speed, efficiency, and waste reduction
Role Requirements & Skills - Technical Production Operator - Dayshifts
* Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment (Manufacturing, food, packaging automotive, chemicals, or similar)
* Strong mechanical aptitude – hands-on with machines and equipment
* A problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in engineering/mechanics is a plus
* Mechanically minded individuals who enjoy hands-on work
* Problem solvers who can think quickly on their feet
