Overview
Premier Paper Group, one of the UK and Ireland's leading Paper and Materials Merchants, are seeking a proactive, motivated and results-driven Customer Success Manager to join our sales team. The Wellingborough location was constructed three years ago and provides a modern sales environment.
The role involves engaging with potential and existing customers over the phone, promoting products and services and closing sales to meet and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Make outbound calls to prospective customers.
* Present, promote, and sell products using effective communication and persuasive techniques.
* Manage and maintain a database of leads / current customers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
* Handle objections and negotiate effectively to close sales.
* Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
* Rebuild relationships with Former clients.
* Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
* Provide feedback on customer trends and competitor activity.
* Use targeted campaigns and promotions to attract business.
* Identify gaps and recommend complementary products to maximise order value.
* Drive revenue growth by recognising customer needs and add-on products.
* Provide quotations and samples, with follow up calls to close sales.
Skills & Qualities
* Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain a professional manner.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Competent in using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office.
* To understand and prepare pricing proposals (where appropriate).
Experience
* Previous telesales, sales, or customer service experience preferred but not always required (training provided in entry-level roles).
* Experience in achieving or exceeding sales targets desirable.
* Industry knowledge (Paper, Print, Stationery, Packaging, or Sign & Display) advantageous.
