A 6-month PDRA position is available to study how mitochondrial metabolism regulates cell death in B cell lymphoma. Techniques will include molecular biology, mass spectrometry, and in vivo studies.
The post requires a dedicated, motivated, and passionate PDRA with a PhD in a relevant subject. The candidate should have substantial skills in cell and molecular biology; in vivo skills are an advantage. First author publications will demonstrate experience in completing studies through to the final manuscript.
The Barts Cancer Institute (BCI) is a Cancer Research UK Centre of Excellence dedicated to transforming the lives of those with and at risk of cancer through innovative research in the laboratory, in patients, and in populations. It is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FMD) and is renowned internationally in many areas of cancer research. BCI combines basic research with clinical expertise to improve cancer patient care. It is also a partner in the CRUK City of London Major Centre, a Centre of Excellence in Biotherapeutics.
