Advanced High Intensity Counsellor (Various locations in Surrey)

DHC Talking Therapies is seeking Advanced High Intensity Counsellors, ideally PCE-CfD qualified, to join our established and thriving team. This blended clinical and leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to both patient care and service development.

In this role, you will work closely with the Service Manager, Clinical Lead, Team Leads and Locality Managers. Youll support service improvements while maintaining a strong clinical focus. The role includes a small counselling caseload and providing high-quality supervision to colleagues.

You will be an inspiring, supportive leader, able to develop others and help ensure the delivery of effective, evidence-based psychological interventions. Youll also join the duty manager rota to support clients and therapists with clinical queries, including risk management.

A key part of the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships across the system, especially with Primary Care Networks (PCNs), to support integrated, community-based service delivery.

We value work-life balance and offer flexible working patterns by agreement, including a mix of on-site and remote working.

Main duties of the job

As part of ourdynamic Talking Therapies service comprising both remote and on-sitetherapists you will need to demonstrate the following:

* Fullqualification in your therapeutic modality and full accreditation in accordancewith the requirements outlined in the NHS Talking Therapies Manual.
* Adeveloped understanding of PCE-CfD competencies.

Job responsibilities

This is an excitingopportunity for an Advanced Counsellor to support the clinical delivery oftreatment across the service, while maintaining a strong clinical focus and aPCE-CfD caseload.

Ideally, this role is suitedto a qualified PCE-CfD practitioner and supervisor; however, training inPCE-CfD will be available for the right candidate.

This is a blended role,combining both home and on-site working.

We are seeking an AdvancedCounsellor to contribute to the development of a team of therapists workingacross the region in sub-groups aligned with Primary Care Networks. This willinvolve networking to establish new relationships and a flexible approach toalign with emerging delivery models within general practice and other localservices.

The successful candidatewill have the ability to inspire and support their team in deliveringhigh-quality psychological interventions. They will also work collaborativelyto improve organisational performance. We are looking for someone who is highlymotivated, capable of leading change, building effective relationships, andsupporting the Service Manager, Clinical Lead, and Locality Managers increating a team that delivers outstanding services to the local population.

The post-holder must havedeveloped clinical expertise and demonstrable experience of working as aqualified therapist. They will carry a clinical caseload alongsideresponsibilities for clinical supervision and duty support.

Key responsibilitiesinclude:

* Supporting theClinical Lead and Locality Managers to ensure delivery of a dynamic, effective,and efficient service.
