An exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a highly regarded and established firm of solicitors. The successful applicant must have at least two years previous experience as a fee earner within residential conveyancing and new build experience.
Role and Responsibilities
* Provide advice and guidance to clients, by email, telephone or in face to face meetings, on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
* Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, Land Registry and third party solicitors.
* Draft documentation supporting the conveyancing transaction, including advice notes, letters and other post completion and registration documents.
Person Requirements
* At least two years residential conveyancing experience essential.
* New build experience essential.
* Experience of handling a caseload of conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.
* Experience of using a case management system together with practical knowledge and use of IT systems including MS Word and Excel.
* Good verbal and written communication skills together with an organised and methodical approach to working with excellent attention to detail.
* A polite, cheerful attitude, particularly when meeting clients.
* A committed and self‑motivated individual who can work as part of a professional, friendly team.
