* London, Reading, Glasgow, Manchester or Bristol (hybrid working) or any key office: To manage a portfolio of corporate clients within the GMS practice, providing expert technical advice and guidance on global mobility matters, while also contributing to business development activities, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Contribute to business development activities by supporting Senior Managers; assist specialist team/technology sales initiatives; develop strategic initiatives and new service offerings; identify wider People Taxes opportunities from the existing client base.
Relationship Management: Act as trusted advisor and primary point of contact for complex global mobility issues; manage and resolve client escalations; provide clients with relevant insights and updates on global mobility trends; handle billing of end clients.
Technical: Provide expert advice on complex global mobility matters, including taxonomy of tax returns, calculations, and compliance documents; support tax briefings and training; lead multi‑jurisdictional advisory projects; provide KGS and KDN oversight for UK clients.
Internal Management: Lead operational activities, ensuring efficiency and alignment with KPMG strategic objectives; manage and mentor a team of tax professionals; ensure excellent financial hygiene on client engagements; contribute to risk management and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills: Expertise in PAYE and NIC, complex residency cases, double tax treaties, relevant reliefs (OWR, TWR, 373), UK taxation of business travellers, non‑resident directors, remote workers, economic employer rules, 60‑day rule, payroll implications, international pensions, social security, benefits and expenses in mobility, CGT on shares, foreign tax credits, interest, dividends, and capital gains; proficiency with GMS technology tools (KPMG LINK Go, GET, GPM, BT) and the Posted Worker Directive.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, team motivation, business development contribution, excellent communication, relationship building, critical thinking, and practical solution delivery; organisational and time management capabilities.
Experience: Proven track record providing technical advice on global mobility matters; leading and managing teams; contributing to business development activities.
Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ATT, CTA).
