Position Details
Customer Advisor – 3‑month fixed‑term contract. Available part‑time or full‑time: 11.25, 18.75 or 36.75 hours per week. Shifts Monday through Sunday, 6:00 am – 10:00 pm. Notional hourly rate: £13.10. Location: B&Q Newry.

What’s the job?
Join our team and become an expert advisor, an inspiration and guide. You will get to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, as will managing stock, setting up displays, and ensuring the store looks great. You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint‑mixing and cutting timber, but great customer service will be your main aim.
What We Need
We look for someone who is happy to help, eager to learn and has a slight obsession with home improvement. You’re friendly and outgoing, get a buzz from helping others, and are happy to expand your skills using new technology and learning new ways of working. We also expect you to work well in a team and be flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
