REPORTS TO: Zonal Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee completion of all allocated tasks, ensuring they meet TSS and Wimbledon’s high standards.
* Confidently delegate and allocate tasks received from the TSS Help Desk, maintain clear communication within the team, follow up on progress, and ensure updates are provided back to the Help Desk.
* Manage team rotas, including allocation of rest days and planning of break times in line with workload requirements.
* Ensure operatives complete daily attendance sheets accurately.
* Monitor team behaviour, performance, and welfare, providing praise where appropriate and escalating concerns or recognition opportunities (including OFA nominations) to the Zonal Manager and TSS Management team.
* Lead by example in behaviour, presentation, and professionalism.
* Ensure all team members wear full uniform, identification badge, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and always maintain appearance standards.
* Ensure correct cleaning materials, equipment, and methods are used, and that equipment is kept clean and tidy. Report any faults immediately to the Zonal Manager.
* Monitor stock levels and ensure materials and equipment are stored as per product specific Risk Assessments.
* Report all accidents, incidents, or near misses promptly to the TSS Management Team.
* Remain vigilant and escalate any security concerns to the AELTC Security Team.
* Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with current Health and Safety legislation, and direct staff to relevant COSHH materials when required.
* Attend Supervisor and Team Leader training days, as well as any additional training required by the TSS Training & Recruitment Department.
* Comply with the TSS Policies and Procedures, which will be fully explained during the training days.
* Assist the management team with induction of new operatives.
* Answer and respond to radio calls as required.
* Ensure TSS devices (phones and radios) are well maintained and signed in/out correctly at the end of each shift.
