Main duties of the job
The Digital Projects Officer will support the deliveryof digital initiatives across the organisation, helping to implement systemsand technologies that improve how services operate. Working within the Digital,Systems and Insights team, the post holder will provide project coordinationand administrative support, maintain project documentation, organise meetingsand liaise with stakeholders across clinical and operational teams. The rolewill also involve supporting staff to adopt and use new digital tools,responding to queries and helping ensure digital solutions are embeddedeffectively. We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive andconfident using digital systems, with strong communication skills and theability to work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues. Job responsibilities
The DigitalProjects Officer will support the delivery of digital initiatives and projectsacross the organisation as part of the Digital, Systems and Insights team. Therole will involve providing project coordination and administrative support tohelp ensure digital projects are implemented effectively and in line withorganisational priorities.
Keyresponsibilities will include maintaining project documentation such as actiontrackers, risk logs and project records; organising and supporting projectmeetings; preparing agendas and recording minutes; and assisting withmonitoring project progress and milestones. The post holder will work closelywith members of the digital team as well as clinical, operational and corporatecolleagues to support the successful delivery of digital initiatives.
The role willalso involve supporting the rollout and adoption of digital systems andtechnologies across services. This may include responding to staff queries,helping colleagues use new digital tools, gathering feedback from users andassisting with system testing or implementation activities where required.
Strongorganisational, communication and digital skills will be important for thisrole, as the post holder will work with a wide range of stakeholders andsupport multiple digital projects at different stages of delivery.
Thepost holder will contribute to improving how digital systems are used acrossthe organisation, helping ensure technology supports staff to work moreefficiently and ultimately enhances the services provided to our service users.
Person Specification
Knowledge
* Understanding of the importance of digital systems in supporting healthcare services and organisational operations.
* Awareness of information governance, confidentiality and data protection requirements when working with organisational or service information.
* Understanding of the need for effective communication and stakeholder engagement when introducing new systems or processes.
* Basic understanding of project processes, including planning, documentation and monitoring progress.
* Understanding of challenges associated with introducing new digital technologies into organisations.
* Knowledge of digital transformation or service improvement approaches within healthcare or public services.
* Awareness of project management frameworks such as PRINCE2 or similar methodologies.
Additional Criteria
* Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with a range of staff groups.
* Ability to produce clear documentation, reports and meeting notes.
* Ability to support colleagues in the use of digital systems and technologies.

Qualifications
* Educated to NVQ Level 3, A-Level standard or equivalent qualification, or equivalent level of knowledge gained through relevant experience.
* Evidence of good IT literacy, including use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Planner, Teams, Visio).
* Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development related to digital systems or project support.
* Qualification or training in project management or project support methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent).
* Qualification or training in digital technologies, information systems or business administration.
* Evidence of continuing professional development related to digital systems, project management or service improvement.
Experience
