HCA - Epsom ED
Working under the direct supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse who delegates tasks to the post holder. The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) will deliver high quality nursing care to patients, as part of a team. The post holder is responsible for their own practice, working within the defined limits of competence and within the scope of the role. The registered nurse retains accountability for the care delivered by the HCA.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality nursing care to patients as part of a team under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
* Work within defined limits of competence and within the scope of the HCA role; the Registered Nurse retains accountability for the care delivered by the HCA.
Requirements / Qualifications
* A genuine desire to be part of the team and provide outstanding care.
* The ability to work well within a team; hardworking, compassionate, and passionate about caring for the client group.
* Previous experience in the role is preferred.
* Clinical training will be provided; daily supervision by trained staff to perform clinically required skills safely and competently.
Hours & Work Arrangements
* Hours of work are full time 37.5 hours per week; part-time working hour requests will not be considered.
