I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Solihull, who are seeking a Liaison Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
As Liaison Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
* Lead/drive activities to reduce manufacturing variability
* Internal & external KPI monitoring & reporting
* Key contact, supporting plant issues
* Change Management support
Qualifications / Skills needed
* Knowledge of manufacturing and supplier quality operations and processes
* Comprehensive problem-solving knowledge - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualified
* Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant experience in an Engineering function
* Be able to apply common processes, standards and utilise a back-to-basics approach
* Able to form good working relationships at all levels of the organisation
* Strong understanding of people and emotional intelligence is a plus
* Creates a climate in which respect, trust and mutual support are an integral part of working together
