Therapy Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Therapy HLTA to join a specialist team supporting children and young people with a range of physical, functional, and sensory needs.
Hours: Term time only, 35 hours per week, 8:45AM to 4:30PM Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:45am - 4:15PM Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:45AM - 3:45PM Fridays
Salary: £25,098 plus £1,268 SEN allowance

Responsibilities:
* Deliver and support therapy programmes under the guidance of therapists.
* Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to embed therapeutic approaches in the classroom.
* Provide coaching and role-modelling for staff to ensure consistent use of therapy strategies and assistive technology.
* Help coordinate and maintain specialist equipment to support students' independence and wellbeing.
* Lead small group and individual interventions to help students achieve their goals.
Requirements:
* Has significant experience as a HLTA or in leading therapeutic/educational interventions.
* Understands child development and SEND.
* Can work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Has excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and support others.
