This is an excitingnew opportunity for a full time band 3 support worker to join an expandingteam working within CAMHS Neurodiversity Pathway working with Children, Youngpeople and families. You will join an established pathwaywithin CAMHS service supporting provision of early intervention services withinthe community the aim is to support both the Child Development Centre and Childand Adolescent Mental Health Children, Young people and families post diagnostically.
You would be part ofa pathway that is delivering early intervention services to Children and Young People (CYP) and theirfamilies in their community. The core function of the pathway will be to provideFamily, child and young person focused support, Structure group work-themed,Drop-ins, Child-led Play, Sensory support and Sleep support. You will also support covering a telephone advisory line- Morning and afternoon (initially 1.Please note that this role may not be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, please refer to the Direct Gov website for more information with regards to eligibility.
To work as part of the Neurodiversity pathway to work with children and
young people and families post diagnostically on discharge from the Child Development Centre or the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.
To support the delivery of evidence-based support in a timely manner
The core function of the pathway will be to provide Family, child and young person focused support, Structure group work-themed, drop ins, Child led Play, Sensory support and Sleep support. They will also support with covering a Telephone advisory line- Morning and afternoon 1.To support the delivery of evidence-based parenting programmes for children and young people.
Ensure planned interventions are implemented effectively and evaluated using Routine Outcome Monitoring (ROMS)

Ensure that children and young peopleare encouraged to play a part in decision making about the help they need andhow they can access specific interventions. This is to promote person-centred planning.

A background of working in a care setting and/or a desire to undertake a career in mental health. Previous experience of working with young people in a professional/voluntary capacity

Computer literate.
