We're looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks water team based in Wanlip, Leicestershire.
Hours: 45 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll work within the Severn Trent Water team, supporting the successful mechanical delivery of the Wanlip wastewater treatment works.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Authoring technical scopes of work.
* Undertaking gap analysis on tender submissions.
* Compiling mechanical design RFIs.
* Identifying and rectifying interface issues within the mechanical D&B packages.
* Creating red line markups and digital quality records.
What are we looking for?
This role of Mechanical Project Engineer is ideal if you have:
* Experience in delivering wastewater M&E projects, especially major projects.
* An ability to work with and manipulate Revit models.
* Experience with digital markup of design during development and redlining upon completion of construction.
* Knowledge of SWIFTs, HAZOPs, and ALM related to mechanical equipment.
* The ability to challenge poor practice and quality within Kier and the supply chain.
