We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacy Support Worker to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Lindholme, a Category C male adult prison based in Doncaster, with an operational capacity of around 900.
This is a fantastic opportunity to start or continue your career in Pharmacy and Healthcare. No previous experience is necessary, and we will support you with extensive training and development opportunities.
Hours
This is a bank role, with hours falling between 07:30 - 17:30.
Salary
The hourly rate is £15.25 per hour.

What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities will vary and include:
* Supporting onsite Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Manager, and the wider healthcare team
* Second checking medication before dispensing to patients on medication rounds
* Contributing to services such as medicine reconciliation, managing stock medicines, and transportation of medicines
* Providing support to ensure a safe and secure medicines management service, following policies, procedures, and SOPs
* Working in the medication hatches on the wings
* Being a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Our new Bank Pharmacy Support Worker will have:
* No experience necessary; a keen interest in Pharmacy and healthcare is essential
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing is a bonus but not essential
* Medicines handling experience is preferred but not required
* A diligent work ethic, high attention to detail, and willingness to learn
