Clerk to Local Governing Committees
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting good governance in education? We are looking for a Clerk to play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of our schools' Local Governing Committees. We are a forward-thinking MAT committed to delivering excellence across our family of schools. This is a key support position that provides essential clerking and administrative capacity to Governors, helping the Trust maintain compliance and uphold high standards of governance at the local level.
* Providing efficient clerking and administrative support to the Local Governing Committees
* Organising meetings, preparing agendas and distributing papers in line with statutory and Trust requirements
* Accurately recording minutes, decisions, and action points
* Managing meeting logistics and ensuring timely follow-up on governance actions
* Maintaining governance records and supporting transparency and accountability across the Trust

* Has excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Is able to demonstrate strong written communication and attention to detail
* Is able to work independently and liaise confidently with senior stakeholders
* Is familiar with governance procedures and statutory requirements in education
