Parts / Customer Service Advisor
An established and growing automotive engineering business is seeking a Parts / Customer Service Advisor to join its team.
As a Parts / Customer Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, managing incoming calls and service enquiries while identifying and assessing customer needs to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
You will act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing information on products and services and answering any questions. All calls are inbound, and you will be working with an established customer base — no cold calling involved.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about helping customers, with a patient, empathetic approach and strong communication skills. You will be comfortable putting yourself in the customer's shoes, advocating on their behalf where needed, and resolving issues efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, allowing you to investigate queries and follow them through to resolution while delivering excellent customer service.
Your main objective will be to provide outstanding service and respond efficiently to enquiries while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming customer phone calls
* Provide administrative support to the department
* Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction
* Build strong relationships through open and effective communication
* Provide accurate and complete information using industry catalogues and systems
* Handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions within agreed timeframes
* Follow up to ensure resolution
* Use CRM systems to process customer accounts and documentation
* Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Requirements
* Proven customer support experience
* Demonstrated track record of excellent customer service
* Strong phone handling skills and active listening
* Familiarity with CRM systems and processes
* Customer-focused mindset with ability to adapt to different situations
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
* Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining accuracy
* Good IT skills
Hours
Business trading hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30.
Part-time and flexible working options may be available.
Salary
£13.50-£14.00 per hour, depending on experience and successful completion of probation.
Initial 12-month contract including a 3-month probation period, with potential to move to a permanent role.

On-site role based in Doncaster.
